GIVE PEACE A CHANCE-REMEMBERING JOHN LENNON! At one time he said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. To whichjj to me he blurted that out of excitement for his band but John Lennon was not just a rock star entertaining Rock and Roll. He was an artist with an imagination of peace. AT ONE TIME he and wife Yoko stayed in bed for a week promoting peace and with everything going on about the war in Vietnam John could see what was going on with war. FOR CHRISTMAS he sang for peace WAR IS OVER if you want it. To be together old and the young,the near and the dear. A wish for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year and hope its a good one. It is always great when wars happen and end that someone is out there singing for peace. Something to be thankful for. IN THE LAST they say John wasn't very spiritual but his music was uplifting. I felt he was getting his groove back when he was killed on that awful night of Dec 8,1980. It was hard to imagine him being taken
