GIVE PEACE A CHANCE-REMEMBERING JOHN LENNON!

At one time he said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. To whichjj to me he blurted that out of excitement for his band but John Lennon was not just a rock star entertaining Rock and Roll. He was an artist with an imagination of peace.

AT ONE TIME he and wife Yoko stayed in bed for a week promoting peace and with everything going on about the war in Vietnam John could see what was going on with war.

FOR CHRISTMAS he sang for peace WAR IS OVER if you want it. To be together old and the young,the near and the dear. A wish for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year and hope its a good one. It is always great when wars happen and end that someone is out there singing for peace. Something to be thankful for.

IN THE LAST they say John wasn't very spiritual but his music was uplifting. I felt he was getting his groove back when he was killed on that awful night of Dec 8,1980. It was hard to imagine him being taken so soon. His life was beginning again. Him and Yoko together got through "Hard Times are Over." But then someone who's soul wasn't at peace murdered John.

But I feel John would still promote peace today to remind us as he did then,"Give Peace A Chance." For war is hell and useless. It makes insanity live and people go crazy. But peace moves us with imagination of what could be and can be. People wouldn't die and we would never fight over what to believe or not to.

THEREFORE I TOO All I'm saying is give Peace a chance. For peace is something we must never give up on. Far too many are warring,whether its between nations or between people over politics. Peace is a song you keep singing and until it lives in our lives and shares till it lives on earth we must keep trying. The goal-Peace on earth,goodwill among men and women. I WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!May it be a good one.

LEARN FROM PAST

  "We can draw lessons from the past,but we cannot live in it." President Lyndon B. Johnson.  Learning and looking ahead makes a journey lessonable and rewarding. For the past is filled with mistakes as well as successes. And both are equally vital in learning in order to see the hopes of tomorrow.  If we fail to learn and understand the past we end up living in it. For it keeps repeating.  And if it keeps repeating, the worse it gets. So let us draw where the lessons are learned, teach where it's never repeated  so that we live for today and not yesterday.  And when we live for today. Tomorrow won't be so uncertain.  We shall overcome when we learn.And in each of us from family, education, community, faith and work ethics,we will be strong in each and our society will be great.  For a dream that is built by us all is a frontier we will accomplish together and America will be the promise we know it can be. So let us learn in order to see.

HAPPY AS WE MAKE UP OUR MINDS!

  "We are as happy as we make up our minds to be." Abraham Lincoln. I'm the happiest when I write-happiest taking a scrap piece of paper and start scribbling on it. Example like reading a quote from President Lincoln and writing it down because it tells me something. I find my treasure in scrap paper.So much I have it all over my office. When I see a quote or something comes to mind that strikes me.I grab that piece of paper and write it down. Something peaceful about a pen and a piece of paper.You can simply scribble and be just as happy with words.If the notes touch you,then you read it again and again.Sometimes I hurry writing and then can't read what I wrote. That disturbs,but I need to slow down when I write. But some of my writings I think to myself,"Did I just write that?"
