SANTA'S DAY-CHRISTMAS 2023!

Image
It's that time again. Where Santa Claus makes his big trip of the year. Having coffee ☕️ with Mrs. Claus 🤶 he has a bit of good cheer. Checking the list of naughty or nice. Who gets the coal and who gets a smile on they're face.  Santa wants to bring joy to all. Toys for children. It's a very difficult world 🌎 today. That hope is desperately seeking to call.  So he checks list once more. Checks it twice. Phones 📱 the elves to see if toy's are ready and was told they are. That's nice. Mrs. Claus 🤶 happiest she's ever been. Christmas 🎄 is such a spirited time. There's so much fun. Baking cookies 🍪, preparing a nice meal for Santa 🎅 and the elves. While playing Elvis Presleys "Santa Claus is coming to town. " Jingle bells 🔔 at the North Pole are starting to ring. Elves begin to sing. Rudolph's nose is charging up, while the other reindeers are practicing their jump. Santa with his coffee ☕️ looks out at his winter wonderland. Then looks u...

BLACK SUPERMAN!

Image
AWHILE BACK GOOGLE posted a story that there was a question about having a black or African American playing the role of Superman. To me that was a dumb question. Certainly they can play Superman-they do it all the time-especially in the real world. To me there is a Superman and Supergirl in every ethic groups not just one.And after what history has gone through there shouldn't be any doubt or question. Just make the movie, perhaps the Rock Dewayne Johnson would be perfect because he is a superman himself. A electrifying one that is. Or maybe the unknown upcoming actors could do it too. Producers and directors they know how to find the right actors to fill the role. I'm amazed by that. But African Americans have played superheroes for years. One for me was Carl Weathers who played the iconic Apollo Creed. An awesome actor. Without Apollo Creed,Rocky Balboa would never have been known. Rocky III was a favorite because Apollo trained Rocky to get back the title from Clubber Lang...

NEVERLAND!

Image
NEVERLAND RANCH A home of Pop legend Michael Jackson. Located in Santa Barbara County,CA (now renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch). Michael lived there for 15yrs. A billionaire bought it,but it remains empty. And it don't make sense. But one can buy it for some 10s of millions.  That's nice -so the billionaire is just sitting on it as real estate-bank or something.  Michael designed NEVERLAND as a theme park where children could go. 13,000 square feet designed in a French country style house. It is awesome to look at.  It cost Michael millions to set it up. More just for the upkeep. Now,it sits. I'm hoping for the community's sake they can turn it into fairgrounds. And leave it's name on it  only adding Michael Jackson's NEVERLAND as a tribute to the singer.  Michael only sold it because of the scandal he put himself in. Thankfully he was cleared but I'm sure he was embarrassed. So he left NEVERLAND behind.  But NEVERLAND controversial or not doesn't have ...

HOPE NOT FEAR!

Image
CHOICES IN HOPE NOT FEARS! "May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears." Nelson Mandela.  July 18th was International Nelson Mandela Day. Choices we make can often be made by fear and it is in this society today where instead we should live in freedom from fear, we live in fear of freedom.  Choices should reflect hopes not fear. Yet it is fear we choose to live. Life is hard that way, but it would help if the many would encourage and not discourage in giving opportunities for the few to choose freedom from fear.  Hope is built on effort as well as love. It is built on courage, even when a neighbor helps out a neighbor and not attacks him. Choices to do good, to do right helps a society have hope. To fear less of your brother, helps a community know they have hope.  To do wrong and fear one another, however, causes mistrust, hate and violence. In history, we've seen too much of that. What one must do to change all that? Love unconditionally would be one...

BLUE BLOODS:REAGANS EVERYWHERE!

Image
BLUE BLOODS! TO HAVE A FAMILY OF COPS,especially in the NYPD and to have the name REAGAN is unique in it's own. CBS BLUE BLOODS starring Tom Selleck who returned to TV after so many years since MAGNUM P.I. was good to see him as the family head. Being Commissioner. His father a former cop now retired. His two sons, one a Sgt. and the other Detective. And a daughter as a DA. Unique in all the right places. The stories uplifting. Sometimes tragic as well as serious. Death of loved ones and there's friends and teams and partners within the Dept and DA office dealing with the political correctness world we live in. BLUE BLOODS like many other shows I have been a late bloomer to watching. But its better late than never I guess. I've enjoyed this show. It also kind of shows you as other police shows tell the difficulties of being a police officer but at a same time they show the value of being one. Through sacrifice and courage they risk their very lives to keep the peace within...

INJUSTICE FOR EMMETT TILL!

Image
IF ANY INJUSTICE IN HISTORY that occurred (and there's many) the one I think about the most is the one Emmett Till got. A 12yr boy visiting relatives in Mississippi was murdered because he may have whistled at a white woman. He was dragged from his bed and what they did I will not describe. But they should have been hanged for it.Well now it seemed the one that could of been held accountable passed away recently and they say now no one will be. A black empty spot of nothingness will forever mark injustice. And it will-here. But before God there will be accountability. It's now in His hands. Carolyn Bryant Donham who accused Emmett before his lynching died before any acts of trial holding her accountable could be done. To me her husband and the friend he was with were tried but the jury didn't convict them. Why not?Because they were all either afraid or hateful as they were. Justice should have been done for that young man and it was a great betrayal of it. Martin Luther K...

NOW WHAT LISA?

Image
Now What Lisa? Now that you're gone where do we go? How do we see the world without you in it? How do we carry on? I know we'll be ok because for the brief moment you were here you've given us a light to remember. A light you shared. We'll carry on because we must but it's ok go home to Elvis,to your son and to our heavenly Father. For you now are a part of a much bigger light, where the candles never go out and the memories will live on eternally in gratefulness. To which we are. There's no more storm and nails, only a peace that's set a place for you. So now what Lisa? We say not goodbye but we'll see you later. For this world is temporary, but heaven is permanent. Where the souls gather and dwell together in faith and hope and where in that higher plane we'll fly as one singing with the angels in everlasting life and love. Where no death or pain or darkness will ever bother any again. So Peace go with you,may Peace be with you. And until ...
