BLUE BLOODS:REAGANS EVERYWHERE!
BLUE BLOODS! |
TO HAVE A FAMILY OF COPS,especially in the NYPD and to have the name REAGAN is unique in it's own.
CBS BLUE BLOODS starring Tom Selleck who returned to TV after so many years since MAGNUM P.I. was good to see him as the family head. Being Commissioner. His father a former cop now retired. His two sons, one a Sgt. and the other Detective. And a daughter as a DA. Unique in all the right places. The stories uplifting. Sometimes tragic as well as serious. Death of loved ones and there's friends and teams and partners within the Dept and DA office dealing with the political correctness world we live in.
BLUE BLOODS like many other shows I have been a late bloomer to watching. But its better late than never I guess. I've enjoyed this show. It also kind of shows you as other police shows tell the difficulties of being a police officer but at a same time they show the value of being one. Through sacrifice and courage they risk their very lives to keep the peace within the city.
Over 200 episodes made and continue to runs. Blue Bloods is one of many CBS successes. And is it ironic Tom returned to TV with the same network that aired MAGNUM P.I.? No it's not.
THE ONLY BAD THING to being a late bloomer to shows like Blue Bloods is that the cast can change. So if you start watching the later episodes you won't see the characters that were there in the beginning like Danny Reagan's wife who was murdered. I haven't seen that episode yet. Hope not to,to be honest because I liked that character.
BUT THANKS TO CBS for another great series. Not to mention their remake of HAWAII FIVE O. What a show that was and I'm usually leary of remakes. I'm enjoying these series.
