DANICA'S FUTURE!

"She will go down as the best female NASCAR driver of all time!"

THAT SHE WILL-Although her career ended this past May 5-27-18 with a crash was not a great ending I wanted to see for her.At the end of 2017 she announced she was done with racing and would do a finale Danica Double in 2018.One at Daytona 500 and the last at Indy 500.A place she began.

CRITICS criticize her but she deserved a better finish.I feel she should enter one last race to end it right.To end it with that car driving through the finish line and not how it ended.Some might say she she just gave up.I don't buy that-for the fire that burned inside of her was so fun to watch that it made some of the male drivers nuts.Gave up?Don't think so.

BUT REGARDLESS of how any of us feel she was TRULY dedicated,she was a great race car driver and whether she won one or none she was fun to follow and read about.But when the sponsorship changed last September it left Danica without one.I feel they gave up on her,it left her future in doubt.So she  made the decision to retire.

DANICA PATRICK-her critics say did nothing for women to follow her into racing.That she got a lot of attention but no results for it.I disagree.Her story was loud and clear.Doors for women will open for them they just need to have that same dedication and fire in their spirits to compete and they will do well.I also think some were jealous of her being there so Danica put up with some stuff I believe she didn't need to but she prevailed.

FINALLY A SCRAPBOOK of her I am putting together from all that I kept from
newspapers.Danica was a story worth following.She was a promotion that I believe helped NASCAR and INDY.And whatever her future is now I wish her the best.GO DANICA!

LEARN FROM PAST

  "We can draw lessons from the past,but we cannot live in it." President Lyndon B. Johnson.  Learning and looking ahead makes a journey lessonable and rewarding. For the past is filled with mistakes as well as successes. And both are equally vital in learning in order to see the hopes of tomorrow.  If we fail to learn and understand the past we end up living in it. For it keeps repeating.  And if it keeps repeating, the worse it gets. So let us draw where the lessons are learned, teach where it's never repeated  so that we live for today and not yesterday.  And when we live for today. Tomorrow won't be so uncertain.  We shall overcome when we learn.And in each of us from family, education, community, faith and work ethics,we will be strong in each and our society will be great.  For a dream that is built by us all is a frontier we will accomplish together and America will be the promise we know it can be. So let us learn in order to see.

HAPPY AS WE MAKE UP OUR MINDS!

  "We are as happy as we make up our minds to be." Abraham Lincoln. I'm the happiest when I write-happiest taking a scrap piece of paper and start scribbling on it. Example like reading a quote from President Lincoln and writing it down because it tells me something. I find my treasure in scrap paper.So much I have it all over my office. When I see a quote or something comes to mind that strikes me.I grab that piece of paper and write it down. Something peaceful about a pen and a piece of paper.You can simply scribble and be just as happy with words.If the notes touch you,then you read it again and again.Sometimes I hurry writing and then can't read what I wrote. That disturbs,but I need to slow down when I write. But some of my writings I think to myself,"Did I just write that?"
