WINTERFEST 2019!







WINTERFEST 2019-Weather's predictions are always unseen.When you get an idea what Mother Nature does,she'll turn the winds on you and either do more havoc or she'll remind you to relax it's nothing.

But so far Winterfest 2019 has been gentle for our areas and even though we have a storm heading our way.I only wished it came on Christmas.For we were snowless last Christmas.It wasn't much of a winter wonderland.But the spirit was there.Got pictures made of our tree.
But the snow did come with havoc at end of November,it split my bush like a banana.Knocked some branches off my tree in back I call Big Al.The Bush up front I call G.W.I took pictures of them and shared.When snow covers the trees  it makes it a winter wonderland.

But other states got hammered far worse.Now some who love snowmobiling love it.Why not.While others who don't like it got stuck.I don't blame the frustration.But winter is filled with snow and cold weather.While normally I'd love a light winter but I also believe is winter like other seasons it can bring joy to our hearts.For snowmen,snow fights and making ice sculptures like the one here of Mr.Lincoln in Rockford.
They are amazing at it.It makes a winter a blessing.But all this written was mostly on January 18th.But adding on end of January inter February and beyond winter made it's dramatic moves with snow,ice and more ice and adding the arctic air.Made traveling rough like here in Dayton.

Most of us now wish Spring would get here.Groundhog days ole Phil predicted an early spring,but I think he saw a shadow that belonged to another animal because it don't seem like an early spring,but regardless as I sit and type this listening to Vince Gill's Christmas CD winterfest can and should be enjoyed.For some southern states they don't get to see much snow as we do in northwestern parts.Winterfest 2019 has been a winterland whether it's been a wonder depends upon you.But I think if we are careful driving safe and such winter can be fun and can be a wonder if we let it.Thanks 4 listening.-Bob.

LEARN FROM PAST

  "We can draw lessons from the past,but we cannot live in it." President Lyndon B. Johnson.  Learning and looking ahead makes a journey lessonable and rewarding. For the past is filled with mistakes as well as successes. And both are equally vital in learning in order to see the hopes of tomorrow.  If we fail to learn and understand the past we end up living in it. For it keeps repeating.  And if it keeps repeating, the worse it gets. So let us draw where the lessons are learned, teach where it's never repeated  so that we live for today and not yesterday.  And when we live for today. Tomorrow won't be so uncertain.  We shall overcome when we learn.And in each of us from family, education, community, faith and work ethics,we will be strong in each and our society will be great.  For a dream that is built by us all is a frontier we will accomplish together and America will be the promise we know it can be. So let us learn in order to see.

HAPPY AS WE MAKE UP OUR MINDS!

  "We are as happy as we make up our minds to be." Abraham Lincoln. I'm the happiest when I write-happiest taking a scrap piece of paper and start scribbling on it. Example like reading a quote from President Lincoln and writing it down because it tells me something. I find my treasure in scrap paper.So much I have it all over my office. When I see a quote or something comes to mind that strikes me.I grab that piece of paper and write it down. Something peaceful about a pen and a piece of paper.You can simply scribble and be just as happy with words.If the notes touch you,then you read it again and again.Sometimes I hurry writing and then can't read what I wrote. That disturbs,but I need to slow down when I write. But some of my writings I think to myself,"Did I just write that?"
