"The power of hope upon human extertion  and happiness is wonderful."-Abraham Lincoln.

EXTERTION-The struggle,attempt,endeavor. We know hope faces a struggle in which any attempt be something or someone who tries to spread it thru human efforts usually has the fight of others who opposes hope or has the wrong idea of what hope is.

Some think it's power and control,while others with patriotic heart and courage of steel feels hope is power and free. President Lincoln had the second. While the struggle of hope  took a toll,his feet stood firmly in place,trusting in the Providence above,while attempting to secure freedom to those still chained.

HOW HAPPY Mr.Lincoln was when the Civil War ended. So happy he vowed to Mrs. Lincoln to make trips. The power of hope always lies in the struggle and those who endeavor in hope,makes the attempt despite the struggle.

But in the Civil Wars case President Lincoln had to do more than attempt. He had to end slavery,stop a war and save the nation. Talk about a burden and a struggle. No wonder Lincoln looked wore out in the end. But happy he was and to which Mrs. Lincoln was surprised and how could he not be?

THE PRESIDENT earned his place in history,a place God planted for him. A place where faith lies and hope in the struggles end becomes won. This should bring anyone happiness when it does. Thanks 4 listening.

LEARN FROM PAST

  "We can draw lessons from the past,but we cannot live in it." President Lyndon B. Johnson.  Learning and looking ahead makes a journey lessonable and rewarding. For the past is filled with mistakes as well as successes. And both are equally vital in learning in order to see the hopes of tomorrow.  If we fail to learn and understand the past we end up living in it. For it keeps repeating.  And if it keeps repeating, the worse it gets. So let us draw where the lessons are learned, teach where it's never repeated  so that we live for today and not yesterday.  And when we live for today. Tomorrow won't be so uncertain.  We shall overcome when we learn.And in each of us from family, education, community, faith and work ethics,we will be strong in each and our society will be great.  For a dream that is built by us all is a frontier we will accomplish together and America will be the promise we know it can be. So let us learn in order to see.

HAPPY AS WE MAKE UP OUR MINDS!

  "We are as happy as we make up our minds to be." Abraham Lincoln. I'm the happiest when I write-happiest taking a scrap piece of paper and start scribbling on it. Example like reading a quote from President Lincoln and writing it down because it tells me something. I find my treasure in scrap paper.So much I have it all over my office. When I see a quote or something comes to mind that strikes me.I grab that piece of paper and write it down. Something peaceful about a pen and a piece of paper.You can simply scribble and be just as happy with words.If the notes touch you,then you read it again and again.Sometimes I hurry writing and then can't read what I wrote. That disturbs,but I need to slow down when I write. But some of my writings I think to myself,"Did I just write that?"
