A POEM-IF MY PEOPLE By Bob DeLacy Jr

IF MY PEOPLE...would pray daily without ceasing in times of peace and in times of war.In times of confusion as well as times of certainty.

God is always ready to answer His people,but His people don't pray and those who don't,let's our nation go down further and that is part of our problem today.

If we don't repent,then our land will fall and what a great fall it'll be.

IF MY PEOPLE would live by the every Word of God.The inspired Word of truth and light-darkness can never touch them.

God is ready to heal,He is ready to forgive,but His people would rather sin and hate,divide and attack one another.And meanwhile some churches ignore the truth for the sake of the world.A dangerous place to be.

IF MY PEOPLE...would only humble themselves,but they are too proud and arrogant and that befalls a man.God loves His people,but He will be forced when the time comes  to bring judgement to which they do not know the day or hour.

So I pray for God's people to repent or perish they'll be.

God is our righteous Father,who like a parent only corrects His children when they wander off and ignores the consequences.

IF MY PEOPLE...would turn from their wicked ways,repent.God would hear from heaven,forgive their sins and would heal our land.

So on this night I pray to my heavenly Father for our nation,for God's people,to restore faith in our souls and restore this land to which it can truly be a place where we live life,liberty and in pursuit of happiness.

GOD BLESS AMERICA,AMEN.

HAPPY AS WE MAKE UP OUR MINDS!

  "We are as happy as we make up our minds to be." Abraham Lincoln. I'm the happiest when I write-happiest taking a scrap piece of paper and start scribbling on it. Example like reading a quote from President Lincoln and writing it down because it tells me something. I find my treasure in scrap paper.So much I have it all over my office. When I see a quote or something comes to mind that strikes me.I grab that piece of paper and write it down. Something peaceful about a pen and a piece of paper.You can simply scribble and be just as happy with words.If the notes touch you,then you read it again and again.Sometimes I hurry writing and then can't read what I wrote. That disturbs,but I need to slow down when I write. But some of my writings I think to myself,"Did I just write that?"   IT'S NATIONAL NEWSPAPER WEEK and I can hear the words of President Kennedy."I read more and enjoy it less." I wrote this last year: Newspapers are vital information to the citizen,to the local and state governments.It's vital to the President of the United States and the fed govt. And although we read more and enjoy less of the news by the newspapers as JFK sometimes did and that was because of the articles that were about him they don't always intentionally give us bad news.The world does that on its own.They just report it. They report on every administration,the policies and where the country is succeeding and failing.Personal opinions are involved but they also have a section for the citizen.TO THE EDITOR where our opinions are printed.
