A Pioneer's hopes

  BLUE BLOODS! TO HAVE A FAMILY OF COPS,especially in the NYPD and to have the name REAGAN is unique in it's own. CBS BLUE BLOODS starring Tom Selleck who returned to TV after so many years since MAGNUM P.I. was good to see him as the family head. Being Commissioner. His father a former cop now retired. His two sons,one a Sgt. and the other Detective. And a daughter as a DA. Unique in all the right places. The stories uplifting. Sometimes tragic as well as serious. Death of loved ones and there's friends and teams and partners within the Dept and DA office dealing with the political correctness world we live in. BLUE BLOODS like many other shows I have been a late bloomer to watching. But its better late than never I guess. I've enjoyed this show. It also kind of shows you as other police shows tell the difficulties of being a police officer but at a same time they show the value of being one. Through sacrifice and courage they risk their very lives to keep the peace within...

  IF ANY INJUSTICE IN HISTORY that occurred (and there's many) the one I think about the most is the one Emmett Till got. A 12yr boy visiting relatives in Mississippi was murdered because he may have whistled at a white woman. He was dragged from his bed and what they did I will not describe. But they should have been hanged for it.Well now it seemed the one that could of been held accountable passed away recently and they say now no one will be. A black empty spot of nothingness will forever mark injustice. And it will-here. But before God there will be accountability. It's now in His hands. Carolyn Bryant Donham who accused Emmett before his lynching died before any acts of trial holding her accountable could be done. To me her husband and the friend he was with were tried but the jury didn't convict them. Why not?Because they were all either afraid or hateful as they were. Now What Lisa? Now that you're gone where do we go? How do we see the world without you in it? How do we carry on? I know we'll be ok because for the brief moment you were here you've given us a light to remember. A light you shared. We'll carry on because we must but it's ok go home to Elvis,to your son and to our heavenly Father.   Back in late October on Tik Tok  actress Jaime Lee Curtis posted and who seemed unhappy got on those who started playing Christmas music before Halloween. She said,"What the hell is wrong with you?" My reaction was immediate block. But then I didn't because I respect her feelings and plus I think it's not bad for some to play Christmas music early. After all Christmas brings joy to the heart no matter what time of the year plus there is feelings of peace within it. I myself play Christmas music periodically throughout the year and have a big Christmas festival  with all my Christmas music  on Christmas Day. They are joyful and uplifting. For one they sing about Jesus OUR PRINCE OF PEACE. And they sing about Santa Claus a character who's made millions of kids happy through the years. CHRISTMAS makes people feel good. The music brings joy to their hearts and as long as something does in this world,let them be. I admit every season is meant  to have their own and...

  "Let it be me..." Elvis Presley sang once and of course the world made it him. AN INFLUENCE like no other. Touched so many and made lives better. Brought happiness and joy in his performances. For he believed his main purpose was to entertain and make people happy and in which he fulfilled both. And 45yrs after his passing-he continues to make them happy. I DON'T THINK he ever imagined the outcome of his success would be. When he went into SUN RECORDS all he wanted was to make a record for his mom's birthday. And within all its a waste of spirit. No matter what our race,religion or political beliefs-were all meant to find that table of reason and understanding. Where were dynamic not static in finding answers to the problems of our day. And where peace in the end is the means and place we come to at the end of the day. For peace is the treasure that awaits the human soul,but it must be worked on like a contractor who builds a building,one level at a time. But peace while precious as it is-love must be one of its ingredients. Not looking at each other with hate or prejudice or act on one another in violence.
