BEING HONEST!

Image
"Being honest may not get you a lot of friends, but it'll always get you the right ones."-John Lennon. HONESTY IS the first chapter in the book of wisdom and honesty is the true form of character.John Lennon spoke of true friends who respect honesty and the truth. And self claimed friends who don't.Honesty can hurt some who deny or refuse  to hear any of it.True friends will hear you, will hear the truth. The honesty that all comes to light and not hidden somewhere in the dark. PEOPLE WHO HONOR honesty honors the truth and appreciates it-no matter how hard it is to be heard. THE TRUTH sets us free and with honesty it uplifts our character. And to have character,to have wisdom one must be honest and in a world today so dark-where honesty is smeared, truth denied-it is no wonder it is in chaos. THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH  demands hearts and minds to be open so ears can hear and eyes can see.To me being honest is the best policy that can be made. Thanks 4 listening.  ...

TRUMP,SESSIONS AND THE MEDIA!

Image
RESIDENTS IN MCHENRY COUNTY recently held a protest crying about President Trump firing Jeff Sessions.Well first of all he wasn't fired,he resigned and second in my opinion he wasn't doing his job anyway. THE MUELLER PROBE has been going on in false accusations and all this time haven't found any evidence of Russia collusion with the Trump campaign. So why are they continuing?Because it's a witch hunt. There is more evidence of Hillary Clinton connection with Russia then Trump.Where was Sessions on this-nowhere! They cry for the president's impeachment-never happen and they can shout to the moon all they want but it will never happen. In fact he will get re-elected. As for Jim Acosta who recently got himself kicked out of the White House because of being an ass as he is only did this to himself as also the network he works for.But Acosta wasn't booted because he disrespected President Trump. He was booted because he disrespected the office of the presid...

WHERE WAS I?On 9-11-01.

Image
WHERE WAS I on 9-11-01.I was home watching it on TV.News showing the hijacked airplanes flying into the Twin Towers. As I was watching the news it wasn't getting any better. IT WAS APPARENT America was attacked. In this dangerous world nothing surprises me but on that day it did.The way they planned it nearly got all of our institutions, nearly the White House. It was clear they were trying to destroy the very fabric of America. Over 3,000 lives were killed but the terrorists failed. They failed in destroying America because America got back up. THE FREEDOM TOWER rose and so did the spirits of the American people. We haven't forgotten nor will we ever.It is why that it is so clear that our borders must be secured just as our airports must be. We can disagree on politics, but never on our security. For the enemy doesn't care what your beliefs are.All they care is that your American and that's good enough for them to target. As so many Americans and unique indivi...

THE NFL AND THE NATIONAL ANTHEM!

Image
WITH ALL THE CONTROVERSY around the kneeling in protest during the play of National Anthem at NFL football games starting with former 49ers star Colin Kaeperick over racism, police shootings of young black or African American kids here is my take. I GET THE PROTESTS and every American is entitled to it when they see wrong and injustice. While racism apparentally still exists in America today I believe there is much better platforms to protest than a football field, but I understand why they chose that stage to do it.And it's understandable when they do it once or twice but at every game? THE NATIONAL ANTHEM is to be a stand in respect.Singing loud and proud with our hand to our heart.Respecting our troops and the freedoms that we have. Were not a perfect nation that's why we work to make it a more perfect union. But we also must respect the game and the fans who come with their hard earned money to watch and support not hear about politics or other issues. We love the talen...

WE ENDURE!

Image
" Our nation endures because we have citizens who love America, and are willing to fight for America."-President Donald Trump. GENERATIONS OF AMERICANS have endured a lot of great trials and have overcome a lot of great tragedies. And with all that they hold the greatest of promises in freedom. AND THE REASON THEY DO-They endure! They love America.Today it seems there is a lot of ignorance roaming through this era,but don't let that fool you. When freedom is attacked, the brave go to battle. We endure the most, but there is a point enough is enough. WE THE PEOPLE in every generation endures trials and they will come for tomorrow's generations. And this is why education is vital. For education is the tool that leads the promise of freedom's tomorrow. The lack of it puts the next generation and freedom in trouble. BUT OUR HISTORY shows-as it will tomorrow-freedom and liberty are not easily surrendered. At least by the courageous.By those who love America. Tha...

DANICA'S FUTURE!

Image
DANICA PATRICK. "She will go down as the best female NASCAR driver of all time!" THAT SHE WILL-Although her career ended this past May 5-27-18 with a crash was not a great ending I wanted to see for her.At the end of 2017 she announced she was done with racing and would do a finale Danica Double in 2018.One at Daytona 500 and the last at Indy 500.A place she began. CRITICS criticize her but she deserved a better finish.I feel she should enter one last race to end it right. To end it with that car driving through the finish line and not how it ended. Some might say she she just gave up.I don't buy that-for the fire that burned inside of her was so fun to watch that it made some of the male drivers n...

ROBERT F.KENNEDY-WHAT IF?

Image
ROBERT F.KENNEDY-WHAT IF?Reading recently read about Juan Romero who was the one who held the hand of the dying Robert Kennedy in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel that awful night in June of 68.Juan discussed the lingering pain he carried through the years was sad.So much hope in Robert Kennedy was astounding to me.For me I was born in 1968,my mother died of cancer that same June.So I only learned of Sen.Kennedy through history, first through his brother John F.Kennedy's years.I became an admirer of both brothers. I CAN GO ON about what if RFK lived, but it don't change anything.I do know the country was deeply wounded that night of June 4,1968 and in fact changed it forever.Americans became angry and threw away the idealism the Kennedy's had reminded us of.We became fixed on political power instead of working towards a society of public service, doing what we can for our country. We let loose of hate instead of encouraging and picking each other up to keep going. ...
