A Pioneer's hopes

On 7/12/26 learned of his passing  at age 71. His last speech was working on a resolve to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. He sounded ok. But an illness came upon him suddenly and next thing we know Sen. Lindsey Graham was gone. It was that quick he was taken from us. To be as a politician Sen. Graham was hot and cold. Sometimes he was there when you needed him and other times he wasn't. He'd either anger you or you would praise him. Now we've been talking term limits but his longevity I didn't mind because he unlike the others was serving country more than party. Although he was a party guy. But now I think with his passing we should we let him belong to the ages and let history decide where he was as a public servant.  For me I criticized and praised him and I think as a good public servant you're going to get both in the times you served.   PAGA- Pray America Great Again. The great essential task of believers in Jesus Christ is to pray 🙏. It's not to get into useless arguments with those who can't or refuse to hear. We spread the message with hope not judgement. We warn but we cannot tell them what to do. And the great example of Christ is the daily living-love one another,feed the poor,help the helpless.   I started reading newspapers after I discovered John F. Kennedy in High School. At that time I learned as he did that newspapers were information. And although he read more and enjoyed it less sometimes it was because what they written of his administration but I've become less enjoyment of them because of some columnists and they're hate especially of current administration. While I don't expect every President and his administration to be approved by every American. But what I expect is fair judgement of their critic as well as praise. And to be fair from me to them as well in my judgement. But the media is biased today. Some say they are fake news and enemies of the people.  ABRAHAM LINCOLN used to say,"Whatever you are be a good one."And whatever that is for us we must have passion in it otherwise it's a waste if there's no effort in it. I HAVE PASSION as a writer and while I love writing my ambition to publish is not there and part of the reason is seeing the world what its becoming.My excuse is why bother if they won't listen and just criticize?All everyone does is attack each other,but this is also an excuse not to ride my passion in writing.I've had publishers contact me in the past but never did anything about it.The other part was money.I didn't have money to put towards their publishing to help print it.   THE WWE'S TRIBUTE to the Immortal Hulk Hogan was nice.Triple H said it best that none of them standing there today wouldn't be there if it weren't for him. He was an original who helped raise sports entertainment and what he did for the business was undisputable.Hulk Hogan was an American Icon.    For me as a fan I used to dress up like him and got picked on for it but I didn't care.Hulkamania was running wild.Today I have an old rugged up red Hulkamania shirt.I'm proud of it.   PRIDE MONTH,VETERANS MONTH.WHATEVER FREEDOM SPRINGS. Every group of people will have their month of celebration  and they can spring from pride flags to American flags. To me,whatever freedom springs for them. For they celebrate because it matters to them. Regardless of the politics that surrounds some of it.   MAY 26 was Memorial Day and thinking of those who gave and still gives their last full measure of devotion to our nation in the noble cause of freedom. They Sacrifice with their very lives,fortunes and sacred honor 🎖.  It is because of them we raise our flag in thanks,never forgetting all they've done for our freedoms.🇺🇸 Plus we also honor 🎖 them by doing our patriotic duty.   IN THE MORNING there's a calm of peace.Where the day awakens to a new morning.The sun rises brightening it with hopes and opportunities.   It's December and it's cold outside.Winter's sprung upon us.For some a down pour of snow,others just simply THE COLD! While I wish winters weren't so rough especially on the days it spreads a mixture of all three.Cold,freezing rain and with snow with adding the arctic winds.It has come to this eventually as of late.   IT'S NATIONAL NEWSPAPER WEEK and I can hear the words of President Kennedy."I read more and enjoy it less." I wrote this last year: Newspapers are vital information to the citizen,to the local and state governments.It's vital to the President of the United States and the fed govt. And although we read more and enjoy less of the news by the newspapers as JFK sometimes did and that was because of the articles that were about him they don't always intentionally give us bad news.The world does that on its own.They just report it. For the past is filled with mistakes as well as successes. And both are equally vital in learning in order to see the hopes of tomorrow.  If we fail to learn and understand the past we end up living in it. For it keeps repeating.  And if it keeps repeating, the worse it gets. So let us draw where the lessons are learned, teach where it's never repeated  so that we live for today and not yesterday.  And when we live for today. Example like reading a quote from President Lincoln and writing it down because it tells me something. I find my treasure in scrap paper.So much I have it all over my office.  There's no common ground-no reason and spirit to achieve progress and lift America's role in the world. Politics is about power not purpose. It's about yelling out accusations instead of talking of ideas. No unity-only party lines. Not encouraging,only discouraging. Politics along with power have become destructive.
